The greatest danger you face is "Christian" beliefs that are not really Scriptural.
1John 4:1 “Beloved, don't believe every spirit but test the spirits whether they are of God, because many false prophets
have gone out into the world.”
Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus said “Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction,
and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life,
and there are few who find it [few who really want it].” 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to me 'Lord, Lord' shall enter
the kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, 'Lord, Lord,
have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'
And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!”
John 8:31-32 “Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, if you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” 6:63 “It is the Spirit who gives life;
the flesh profits nothing. The words I speak to you are Spirit, and they are Life.”
10:27-28 “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, [they know My voice] and they follow Me.
And I give them eternal life ...”
Matthew 10:22, Jesus said to His followers “You will be hated by all
for My name sake.
But whoever endures to the end will be saved.”
John 15:19, Jesus said to His followers “If you were of the world, the world would love its own.
But because you
are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the
world hates you.”
Luke 12:51, Jesus said “Do you think I came to give peace on earth? Not at all, but rather division. ...”
16:15, Jesus said “… what is highly esteemed among people is an abomination in the sight of God”
James (Yakob) 4:4 “… Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?
Whoever wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.”
